“Cameraman/director/editor, with many years experience of NGO’s, now offers….More”

Martin Davison is based in Beijing and makes all types of video programme for NGO’s – and other clients.

Martin is a native English speaker - and originally trained at the BBC in London. He went on to originate and produce a regular weekly series on disability issues for UK Channel Four. Over eighty editions of ‘ Same Difference ’ were made.

During that period he filmed in many countries around the world, including Australia, New Zealand, Russia, the United States, central America and most every country in the European Union.

He has also made training, fundraising and informational programmes for the European Union, the UK government Department of Transport, the Benefits Agency and many UK NGO’s – including Arthritis Care, the MS Society, and Scope.

Commercially, he has written and directed programmes for British Airways, British Rail, Philips, Monsanto, 3M and many other corporate clients.

In 2002, Martin Davison directed a series of thirteen programmes for Shanghai Lifestyle Channel (in Mandarin) promoting the UK in China.

More recently, he has produced several programmes for Handicap International in China as cameraman/director/editor. He has also provided training modules in the use of the camera – and video production techniques - for HI projects and staff.

Martin now offers a one-stop solution for INGO’s seeking a cost effective solution to their filming requirements. He is happy to travel anywhere in the region but does require an interpreter on location to assist with filming.

If you have a programme to make – a training video, a fundraiser, or perhaps a documantary-style report on your project – of the highest possible quality and at a realistic budget – then please call Martin. He will be happy to discuss your project with you!
