Chinadevelopmentbrief.com comes with a full range of RSS feeds which allow users to be alerted to new content on the site.
What is RSS?
RSS is Really Simple Syndication. RSS feeds are specially formatted text files that can be read by a range of websites and desktop software.
Why are they useful?
RSS feeds allow you to automate your information-gathering. You can have headlines from all your favourite websites appear on one personalized webpage (for example, My Yahoo!)
Alternatively, you can subscribe to an RSS feed from desktop applications such as email clients - see this article [1] for some suggestions.
Once set up, you no longer need to visit a website to check for new articles. When new content is published, the headline will be delivered to your RSS reader, and if you wish you can click through to read.
What RSS feeds do you have?
(NB: You'll need an RSS reader before you can use the links in this paragraph)
Lots. There is a main feed [2] which carries all new articles on the site.
There are also individual feeds for each category, for example there is an environment feed [3], and a job feed [4]. Click on a category in the left-hand menu, and look for the
icon.
