The international medical, humanitarian organisation Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in Hong Kong is looking for a suitable candidate for the following position:
Communications Officer (Online)

Major responsibilities:
a) Builds up MSF’s presence in social media in China to enhance the profile of MSF and raise awareness of worldwide humanitarian affairs b) Plans and organises online communication activities c) Edits and translates content for MSF-HK website(s) d) Manages the development of thematic websites of MSF-HK e) Edits and produces audio/visual materials for mass communication
Requirements:
· University graduate with a minimum of 3 years’ solid experience in the field of mass communication
· Sound knowledge of new media and internet culture in China, and the trend of multimedia development trend
· Excellent verbal and writing skills in Chinese and English; solid experience in translation and copy writing
· Strong interest in world affairs and clear commitment to the aims and values of Médecins Sans Frontières
· Strong organisational skills and marketing sense, independent, creative, team-player and ability to work under pressure
· Proficiency in MS Office and internet usage with knowledge of Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Flash & A/V editing
