Due to its expansion, the Three Valleys Foundation is looking for a
« Head of Resource Mobilization & Communication ».

Location:
Three Valleys Foundation Office, Beijing.
Occasionally, Diqing Prefecture, Yunnan.(a new office will be opening soon in Beijing)

Hours of Duty:
Flexible but 5 days/week, 9H00 to 18H00

Responsibility:
Create and manage the Resource Mobilization & Communication Department

Main Duties:
- Identify potential donors
- Forge deep and long-lasting contacts with donors
- Liaise with various NGO, and government departments in Beijing
- Manage the donors portfolio
- Explore new and creative partnerships
- Propose and implement funding & communication plans
- Be the link in Beijing and other cities between projects and donors
- Liaise with Three Valleys Foundation managing team

Required Qualifications:
- Must have a work experience in Yunnan and know the political, economic, social and human situation of the region.
- Must have at least 2-3 years successful experience in a similar or related position in a reputable NGO, government, company or other organization.
- Native fluency in Chinese, able to write, read and communicate in English on a professional level.
- Education: various fields are possible, such as economics, development, social, communication, or other related. Emphasis will be given to his/her work experience in similar or related positions and on his/her personality and reputation.
- Computer: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, (MS Project if possible), keen Internet user.

Furthermore, the candidate should be/have:
- Able to propose creative ideas and implement them
- Able work independently, while being part of a team
- Psychology, flexibility and diplomacy
- High standard of integrity
- Good trekker and willing to spend some time on the field
- Have an attractive personality
