The China Australia Governance Program partners are seeking to recruit a Senior Program Coordinator to support overall management and administering of program activities. The position will be based full-time in Beijing for 9 months.

The China Australia Governance Program (CAGP) is an AusAID funded program valued at A$20m designed to support China’s governance reform and development agenda in areas of mutual interest to China and Australia.

The Program is being implemented through a Program Charter, comprising the following Program Partners.

--Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID)
--Ministry of Commerce, Peoples Republic of China and:
--National Development Reform Commission Peoples Republic of China 
--Hassall & Associates International as the Australian Managing Contractor.

The Program has the following components:

Component 1: Partnership Facility to support strategic engagement between Australia and China
Component 2: Support for Implementation of Specific Policy Initiatives
Component 3: Administration of the Australian Development Scholarships Program

The CAGP Program Office is located in Beijing. Program implementation commenced in September 2004 and is being implemented over 6.5 years.
