ADF’s overall approach is based on the belief that a strong civil society, comprising a diversity of autonomous economic, political, social and cultural institutions, provides the indispensable foundation of a sustainable democracy. ADF has a successful record helping thousands of civil society organizations (CSOs) to strengthen democratic values, institutions and processes in their countries and to promote social and economic development. ADF has experience working in over thirty countries in Eastern and Central Europe, the Middle East, the Caribbean, Central America, and Africa.

Highlights

China Relief and Reconstruction Fund

ADF’s China staff is working in partnership with China's Children and Teenage Fund (CCTF) in mobilizing resources for emergency relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction services to children and youth impacted by the earthquake in Sichuan. ADF and CCTF have established the "China Earthquake Relief and Reconstruction Fund" seeking resources necessary for these emergency relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction services. The Vojvodina Ethno Food and Music Festival 2007

Sixth Vojvodina Ethno Food and Music Festival, sponsored by America’s Development Foundation (ADF), the Executive Council of Vojvodina and the City of Novi Sad took place on August 25, 2007. This festival, organized annually over the past five years by America’s Development Foundation, features 40 ethno music and dance groups on stage and 100 colorful stands of the region’s diverse communities abundantly filled with a delicious variety of ethnic food, beautiful handcrafts, and information on local tourism attractions.
