AIDS Relief Fund for China
Mission: "AIDS Relief Fund for China is a public charitable organization dedicated to supporting broad-based HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment efforts in China. Through fundraising and effective grant making, we support individuals and organizations in China who are fighting HIV/AIDS. Established in 2003, this US-based organisation makes small grants to grassroots AIDS service and education organisations in China. The group is composed entirely of volunteers. They hope to foster grassroots leaders and organisations in China, providing start-up assistance to new groups, promoting innovative pilot projects, encouraging exchange, communication and partnerships among Chinese AIDS-related NGOs and, where appropriate, helping Chinese organisations to access larger grants. Current grantees are in Sichuan, Beijing, Nanjing and Shanghai.
ARFC is funded by donations from private individuals
