Since its establishment in 1986 this Bangkok based organisation has collaborated with Chinese government departments and UN agencies in a workshops, training and study courses on topics such as disaster management, risk assessment, and specialised aspects of earthquake, flood and cyclone mitigation and preparedness.
ADPC is looking for suitable local partner organizations to implement to following activities: a public awareness program and capacity building in disaster management, community based disaster management programs, training programs on disaster management.
ADPC is funded by several international donors and funding agencies, including the UNDP, USAID/OFDA, AUSAID, EU, WHO, ADB, World Bank.
